The story is an enriching experience and gives the reader a peek at times when honor was truly in vogue and character counted. This is the second work of author Dale Meador. As in his first, “Along Dusty Roads,” his keen eye for the nuances of southern living paint word pictures as vividly as any author I’ve ever read. When one can read a book and smile with the story and those who inhabit it, that’s time well spent. I loved it."
