1853 gold fever grips the new British colony of Victoria. People come from all over the world. This is the story of two women who travelled from England to Melbourne then to the gold diggings. In Ballarat women joined together for mutual support to face the harsh conditions and to face the corruption of administration that finally ended in revolution and the Eureka Stockade.
