The book "Pass Me The Rat-Hat Carlo" is about the authors adventurous entry into the world of commercial deep sea diving in the 1960'ies during a time when the industry had no civilian training faclities, and where learning was based on trial & error and good luck. Experiencing the introduction of and pioneering saturation diving as a matter of course in deep diving work in the North Sea. Early days and fun times diving for a living in Australia, and enjoying the times when diving recreationally on the then pristine Great Barrier Reef was something that only very few people could do at their choosing.
