Sadie Collins is good at keeping secrets. She has been keeping one since she was five years old. Alex is her secret. He follows her everywhere. When Alex returns to a dying Sadie, she believes that he has returned to save her life but Alex has a story to tell and Sadie is forced into a world of horror, ghosts, the paranormal and death on an unimaginable scale.
