Colin Archbold gives us an historical account of mining in the Hunter Valley of N.S.W. Australia. Colin was born into a mining family in the small town of Kurri Kurri in the Hunter. His memoirs give us an insight into the way it was working below ground and the great changes in technology that occurred.Above ground there was his family and the mining community.
