Lake Morgan, A Small Blue Bottle

Some people know about Marie's potions. She makes them for all manner of needs. They also know the legend of the one in the blue bottle that transforms a limb into a stump. Old feelings stir for Jean when her daughter loses a leg the summer before college. Her husband cannot tolerate the loss any more than Sandy being a lesbian.
