The Second American Depression: A Journal

This short novel looks examines the first days of an economic depression sparked by a widespread series of terrorist attacks, sometime in the decade of the 2010's. Even though there is relatively little physical damage, the damage to the power grid is catastrophic, and the country is almost immediately plunged into darkness.

The events are seen through the journal of one who lived through them.
