The French Tour Guide is a love story. Remy meets Lauren when she is touring France in 1970. Lauren is a 45 year old widow and Remy is the 35 year old tour guide who sweeps her off her feet. They have a long distance relationship for two years when Remy announces he has "found" someone else. Remy shows up on Lauren's porch the day he is to marry and professes his undying love for her.
