Retribution

When a mobster starts selling drugs in small town Fox Hunt, no ordinary person was willing to stand up to them, and with no police force, there seemed to be no hope. Tom Sandburg, a former Navy SEAL, was no ordinary man, and he decided that if there was no other way to stop this, he would do it himself. Tom Sandburg moved away from the big city because he wanted to escape the negative lifestyles found there. A successful architect and a former Navy SEAL, he was confident, successful, and loved his wife and children. The town of Fox Hunt was perfect, its small size inviting and friendly, and his son Randy soon became the star quarterback on the high school football team and his daughter Linda was a cheerleader and very popular at school. Deeply in love with his wife, Sharon, they soon were living a perfect life. Fox Hunt was unique in that it was made like an old wagon wheel, the spokes were the streets for houses and a circular road connected them to a state highway that passed through town, the only way in or out. The business district ran along that artery. An organized crime underboss passed through town one fateful day and made an insightful decision. If a car was parked at each end of town, drugs could be sold from them without fear of police involvement. Fox Hunt had no police department, and spotters in each direction on the highway called in when state highway patrol cars passed through. In that case the drug cars simply drove away and returned minutes later after the police were gone.
