The Bengee Story

This is a story as told from the viewpoint of a dog, of it's life from birth to present day. It is a story of love of humans, disapointment at the first family that adopts it and then joy when the second family adopts it and makes it part of their life. Bengee, the star of the story learns how to enjoy all aspects of her life and how humans love her and she them. Along the way, she learns about things in the world from thunderstorms, to garbage trucks, and why brisket smells and tastes so good. Set in Austin Texas, many of the cities landmarks such as Central Park are featured along with the things that make Austin, Austin. The story is true and actually happened from the second family forward and while the end is bittersweet, it is still uplifting and forward looking. This is a book that you can read at bed time to your kids and leave them with pleasant dreams.
