Billy Barnstorm

When a kid starts to become a man he also discovers girls and the kid in this book has more misadventures with his girl friends than anyone should have to endure. He also discovers the dubious allure of inadvertent contact in the arms of a stripper named Flame LaTouche and learns that horses and girls don't mix--neither do randy dogs and parades. Mixed in are encounters less ribald, including a spooky outing with an old Ojibway Indian and a romantic one with a young Indian girl.
