The Tropic of X

THE TROPIC OF X is a poetic spoken word and hip-hop inspired drama written by aclaimed US Latina dramatist Caridad Svich about a young man and a young woman who live on the streets of an un-named city in the Latin-American Caribbean. The play charts their epic love story againt political and economic dictatorship. The play originally premiered in a German-language production at ARTheater in Cologne, Germany under the direction of Marcy Arlin.
