Snake River Water Wheel

A new book by Maurice Jones, Idaho author, "Snake River Water Wheel". This is a fictional account of events occuring when the sternwheeler, Shonshone, was sailed through Hells Canyon, the deepest canyon in the US, circa 1868. It is considered to be one of the most astounding and reckless feats of steamboat navigation ever attempted. Action begins in Silver City,in the Idaho Territory, during it's first mining boom.
