A science-fictionalization of Stanley's search for Livingstone, this takes place on the planet Bushveld, as Robert Markham searches for the elusive Dr. Michael Drake, and Resnick -- a veteran of half a dozen trips to Africa -- offers his very untraditional version of the epic safari and its conclusion.
