The Stories of the BAWKASH offers a different look at Bible stories, which give a perspective that will encourage the reader to look for the quiet meaning of the message given in God’s Word, the Bible. As shown in 1 Kings Verses 11-13.
‘Elijah standing on the mountain and a great wind came upon the mountain and tore the mountain apart and God was not in the wind. And after the wind a great earthquake came forth and God was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a great fire and God was not in the fire. And after the fire a still small voice came and God was in the still small voice’.
I look for the still small voice of God, not the loud booming voice that tends to scare people.
The Stories of the BAWKASH is a series of short stories that explore the Bible message through the eyes of a narrator, which allows each set of stories to appeal to a different audience, such as children, teen, women, and men.
The stories are written for particular age/grade level,
the first in the series are for children in grades 5-8,
the second for teenagers,
the third for women, and
the fourth for men.
Each story has a biblical reference that is the basis for each story.
The stories are have two purposes one to involve the reader in the Bible story, and the other to give the inquisitive reader the desire to look more deeply into the Bible stories to find what is usually overlooked.
