Neighbor Watchers-Amazing Gracie Mystery Series

Gracie Evans is the Miss Marple of her day. She entered a retirement home in Locked Rock, Iowa after she grew too old to farm. She soon found retirement very boring. All she did during the day was rock on the front porch with Melinda Applegate, another resident of Moser Mansion Rest Home for Women. To pass the time, Gracie tore holes in the flower vines attached to the porch and with the rockers behind the thick foliage the women could watch the neighbors without being seen. Seemed like harmeless enough fun until the lady of the evening across the street is murdered. Gracie and Melinda are the only ones who saw the killer, and the killer knows they were hid behind the vines because the faulty latch on Melinda's watch lid opened and played a musical tune that carried through the still summer night air. Gracie and Melinda are afraid to tell the sheriff who the killer is without proof. While the ladies try to find the murder weapon or the killer's bloody clothes they are stalked by the killer. It looks like if the ladies don't hurry up and do something fast all the resident in Moser Mansion will be killed by this crazy person.
