The Chance Of A Sparrow-Amazing Gracie Mystery Series

Gracie Evans is tried of retirement. She has the worse case of spring fever you ever saw and is so homesick for her farm, Three Oaks, that she wishes she could back the clock and go home. A miracle seems to have happened when Gracie gets her wish. She soon decodes she had been careful what she wished for. A missing neighbor's clothes wind up all over her pond dam. A nearly naked Indian comes out of the pond. Gracie's not sure what to think so she goes for help at the closest farm which happens to belong to her old boyfriend. Next thing you know she's shot at, has the law investigating her and the farm and the old boyfriend coming to visit much too often to suit Gracie. That's just part of the bad luck Gracie is in for while she farm sits at Three Oaks.
