These are inspirational stories that I've entered in short story contests and was awarded from first to sixth place. The stories are about women I know and amired. Some were in the nursing home where I worked and others are related to me. You'll can't help but feel good when you ready about a little woman named Shorty that had no one. Or so it seemed. In fact she was blessed with many special friends at the nursing home. One woman was so appreciative of all our good care she always said we would go to Heaven in a sugar bowl. This is the kind of women I wrote about and considered myself lucky to be apart of their lives.
