Apologia Pro Vita Sua by Cardinal John Henry Newman

Noted Catholic convert Cardinal Newman wrote Apologia in 1864 in response to attacks on himself, the Catholic Church, and Catholic doctrine by Charles Kingsley. Apologia expounds Newman's religious views, and explores his conversion from Anglicanism to Catholicism. Apologia was key in making Newman one of the leading Catholics in England.
