Death do us part

Sarah Johnson is convinced that her husband is holding her captive in a dark basement, trying to torture her into revealing where their son is. The reader cannot help but get caught up in Sarah’s delusional world until slowly it begins to unravel and we realize that her memory is not complete or accurate. After agonizingly suspenseful twists and turns, the denouement is startling and satisfying.
