21 Days

21 DAYS is the story of a young Cuban-American confronted with the bureaucracy of the penal system in present-day South Florida. The nameless and idealistic protagonist lands in jail as the result of a false accusation. There he attempts to find justification for the "unfairness" of the punitive ordeal that suffocates him. At the same time, he meets others who are also lost in a system that fails to notice their existence, faceless and mute souls eking out meaningless lives, invisible men.
