SEDUCING SANTA

Pink slipped?!! Santa!!! The newspaper said it was so, and for Nate Carrington it was good news. He was looking for a gimmick to up the visibility of his Christmas decor catalog and having a year-round Santa on the payroll suited the bill. So he gave St. Nick a call.

But so did Roxanne Mercer after she read the article. The Kriss Kringle who listened to the children's gift lists at her North Pole Outlet, a Christmas-Year-Round shop, had flitted off to the Bahamas leaving the Santa seat empty. Having a made to order jolly old soul who was fired because he was too perfect a St. Nick seemed an early Christmas gift to her.

Or it did until she came nose-to-nose with Nate Carrington on Santa's doorstep. That's with the bidding war for St. Nick's services began. Strangely enough, falling in love wasn't far behind.
