The Astoria

Set in modern day, a young woman and her son move to Chicago. There they find in the middle of downtown, a Southern colonial mansion. They meet a sweet yet sometimes crotchety old lady named Peach. As the young woman and her son walk through the mansion, that at one time was a Southern style restaurant, she discovers a beautiful garden behind a set of French doors and is astounded. She open the doors to the backyard and finds 4 small English cottages, two on either side of that magnificant garden. She and her son are led to their cottage. This is where their story begins.
This book centers around, love, friendship and family. "Just because you ain't blood, don't mean you ain't family"
But as Aidy learns to find love again, she also finds heartbreak with the same man. Can and will she drop her guard to find the true meaning of love and the perfect father for her son?
And what about this old woman who knows her better than she knows herself..and yet they've only first met?
Aidy begins a journey of laughter and tears in a quest to find true happiness.
