Distortions is a supernatural suspense drama that places an a supernatural entity in mirrors with the ability to see out of any mirror and show us our inner truth in our reflections when in a cusp of emotion and in need of a sign to change. The visual truth revealed in these mirroral distortions dynamically change. As you grow closer to your true destiny, your distortions looks more like your true self. As you detour away from your calling, they send a sign.
The moment of supernatural enlightenment and acknowledgement by my four characters takes place in a raging thunderstorm at a traveling carnival's House of Mirrors. There they have a shared supernatural experience with The Entity that allows each to pass through their inner crossroads with peace of mind.
Illumination is achieved when they acknowledge The Entity, and It responds with a single tear in the reflection of a face just having made a change for the better.
The four person dialogue within the House of Mirrors also has a stage play that accompanies it. Its title is "Shastras," and it takes a more in-depth examination of intervention, serendipity, synchronicity, Celestine Prophecy encounters, supernatural realms, other dimensions, soulful endeavors and more. Shastras is a Hindu term, and it means "scripture" or "received wisdom about Right conduct." My "Shastras" stage play is also available on this Barnes & Noble website.
