Ronen Golan, an Israeli engineer, comes to the USA on business. He meets Jane Katz in Human Resources and a romance ensues. He finds that the company received a signal from outer space, surprising all the engineers. The signal was continuous but unclear and most of the engineers tried unsuccessfully to decipher it. When Ronen returns to Israel he discusses the signal with two of his engineer friends and based on what they surmise they start a company to build robots - "The Guys."
The Guys easily replace humans in the workplace and in a short period of time they creat a high world-wide unemployment. As their numbers grow problems start and Chaim, the Israeli software engineer, is sent to solve the problems. Chaim meets Nancy and there is a mutual attraction. The two ladies present the female vantage point of the problem. Chaim discovers that the Guys internal software plays an important role. As the number of the guys grows the problem escalate and eventually the American president is involved.
Chaim could control the Guys but he admires and supports them. The world is at war with the Guys.
