Today's Victim, Tomorrow's Suspect is a popular phrase often shared within the ranks of law enforcement. The phrase is usually associated with violent crimes such as murder, assaults and grand theft of property. The phrase was common amongst the gangs and street hoodlums of the 1980s in South Central Los Angeles, so common that it developed it's own Politically Correct nomenclature of "Street Justice".

But this story is not about the gangs and street hoodlums of the 1980s. It is instead a story about the other team... The good guys... The Los Angeles Police Department.

"Society has a way of determining which side of the law you will best associate yourself with."

I love making this comment in a crowded room, because it invokes so much controversy. Those who don't subscribe to my theory will argue, "Good or bad, I will never break the law. There is nothing that could FORCE me to live the life of a criminal."

Really? Nothing?

But what if you are a police officer? Are there circumstances that could FORCE you to be a "bad guy"? Circumstances that are "out of your hands" that could jeopardize your social standings? What if you have nothing but the best intentions, can you still be FORCED into a world where you wake up every morning and decide that I need to commit a crime to survive?

This is a story about those circumstances.

Young, handsome, energetic Police Officer Kyle "The Brick" Mason is a poster child for the Los Angeles Police Department. He has more apprehensions and "collars" than any other officer in his Division, and thanks to his God-given good looks, he has just as many apprehensions in the bedroom.

When he and his partner enter into a dark alley, chasing what they believe to be robbery suspects, his partner tragically loses his life and Kyle learns first hand what it means to be Today's Victim, Tomorrow's Suspect.

In this story, you will learn what happens when a promising, young, promiscuous police officer contracts the AIDS Virus. Then through his decisions and actions, he becomes the most hated man in Los Angeles.

Today's Victim, Tomorrow's Suspect: Fate can sometimes decide which one you'll be...today.
