"A Juxtaposition of Idiosyncrasies" is the very first book Brian Shell wrote after spending years focusing on screenplays and developing his music talents. It was inspired when his first love encouraged him to write an autobiography because of the sheer number of scintillating life stories he'd share over the course of casual conversation when they coincidentally bumped into each other a decade after dating... thus, he wrote this chronologically-random series of vignette-like life lessons learned by living with brave zest and crazy grace.

The bulk of it was written in 2003, and this book contains over 30+ unique chapters that describe the life and reflections of someone who has seen it all and tried to live a life that honored his destiny while following his bliss. In essence, each one offers a kaleidoscopic vision of many of the facets his life has contained.

It contains perspective on everything from getting straight A's and scholarships to working in Corporate America to being taught by the best of the best in math, science, engineering, sports, music, art, screenwriting, religion, and life.

Brian's stories tell the tales of making a leap of faith and accepting the responsibilities that came from taking such an extreme risk in order to realize his aspirations.
