Ganymede

Ganymede is a riveting tale about an audacious international terrorist plot that seeks to win revenge and draw the United States into a conflict better left to ancient adversaries. The action begins in Bonn, rushes through the civil war-ravaged streets of Beirut, to Athens not found by tourists, and to a terrorist training camp in North Africa. The final scenes of this fast paced story of spiraling violence are played out in New York City.

The main characters are drawn from the CIA’s Clandestine Service, Israel’s Mossad, Lebanese Christian militia elements, and the Libyan intelligence service; with a supporting cast draw from the innocents who endure the violence, most times stoically.

Among those involved in this action-packed tale is a veteran CIA case officer who proves more comfortable in the field than in the corridors of CIA’s Headquarters where political maneuvering reigns; a bona fide terrorist who defects to the US and offers his cooperation in return for asylum and refuge in the United States for him and his common law wife; a successful German businessman, the veteran case officer’s agent, who stumbles upon the perpetrators of this audacious plot; Lebanese fighters who remain unbowed before the dangers they face in allegiance to The Lebanon; and, of course, some of the same who are ruthless adversaries on all sides and are prepared to meet any challenge, undertake any action – however repugnant, endure any trial, and serve without flinching for the greater good as defined by their mentors and leaders.
