GOING HOME
Doug Holland’s life was never the same after Ann, his one and only love, his high school sweet heart, married his best friend Daryl Stepp, while Doug was under enemy fire in Vietnam.
After almost 35 years of carrying the torch for Ann, Doug packed his saddlebags, climbed on his Harley and lit out for his home town of Centerville. He had never been able to shake the burning image of Ann standing on the wooden platform throwing him kisses as the train slowly pulled away, taking him to Fort Ord California for basic training. Doug’s hope was that by returning to Centerville, he might some how bring an ending to the hurt he had suffered all those years.
HAUNTING MEMORIES
Jack was in his garage working on his latest project (restoring a 1966 Triumph T-100 motorcycle) when his neighbor Ted came ambling down his driveway. Jack knew what he was in for. Ted would repeat the same old story Jack had heard so many times before. Ted would start babbling about the haunting memories he had of the German pilot he shot down while flying Spads in WWI and the deaths he had caused while riding board track racers for Harley Davidson after the war. Old Ted finds a surprising solution to this problem before this suspenseful tale comes to an end.
MOTORBIKES-BB GUNS and SICK SNAKES
Hawkeye Charley lets his memory take him back to his carefree days on the farm in Oklahoma in the late 1940’s. He remembers the fun he and his best friend Virgil had riding his Whizzer down to the fishing hole where they would catch catfish, shoot at dragon flies (they called them snake doctors) with the Red Ryder BB gun. Charley always dreaded going home, as he knew his father would not be happy with him for skipping out on his chores.
