Drifting Again, Miss Ludy's Story

Miss Ludy is a young slave girl who is saved by three Haines siblings in the Philadelphia scourge of yellow fever in late 1700s. She has vowed to always help the Haines family throughout their lives. She becomes an escaped slave when she aids one of the chldren. She lives with the Cherokees, and experiences the Trail of Tears.
