The people of the village call her the forgotten bride. Issie has been married from childhood to a neighboring Lairds son, but he has never came to claim her. One day he arrives and she is swept away to her new home with out warning.

Now Issie must find away to make him love her and to find her mothers strength to be able to pull it all together.



Lachlan has been away for years trying to make his father proud of him and to prove to himself that he deserves to be the Laird of there lands. On his way home from the Kings service to see his ailing father he stops to claim his bride Issie.

He had never forgotten her but he wanted to make sure that when he did finally claim her as his wife that he could give her the only thing that matter to him, a solid name to claim as her own. What he wasn’t expecting was to give her his heart.
