Destiny's Wildest Dream

Though the book title indicates that this is the second chronicle, it is in fact the first book of a series with additional works to follow but stands alone as a complete read. This volume is a three part story designed to set the stage for a much bigger story; The World of Chthon. Destiny's Wildest Dream is about Kevin Cade, a man with the single most bazaar childhood ever experienced. He's orphaned in the Canadian Rockie mountain wilderness at the age of eight with what seems is no chance for survival. However, he and a befriended bear cub encounter an alien retreat, a clue not only to survival, but to a destiny which will take him to deeds of heroism and beyond; to another world of beautifully constructed people who themselves have been orphaned by their "makers". These ones find themselves on the brink of an extinction that only Cade can avert. However this is only the beginning of intrigue that spans the galaxy and finds Earth and it's inhabitants at it's center.
