Dropping the Fig Leaves is about living without “dark corners”-it’s about living the way the Lord intends all of us to live, naked and unashamed. Exposure is powerful and necessary when living in the presence of the Creator, but too often, we think hiding behind fig leaves will make our lives more efficient and less stressful.

“Most of us who believe we are authentic simply aren’t. Brian Hommel understands the soul as an onion, and in this book peels back the layers to reveal his own heart, giving us permission to access ours as well. If you’re done living a life of self-deception and are ready to face yourself and the God who loves you as you are, here is your mirror.”
-Donald Miller
Author of Blue Like Jazz and Searching For God Knows What

“Brian Hommel knows what he is talking about in this book. Not only has he experienced the pain of an inauthentic life and been set free into deep living but he daily walks and encourages men to do the same.”
-Matt Chandler, Lead Pastor of The Village Church
