Lupus, My Doctor and Me: A Sacred Dialogue

Together with my doctor, I have told the story of my journey with lupus. After each chapter, each of which deals with a different issue confronting people with chronic illnesses, my doctor gives a medical commentary. It is a sacred relationship in that what we say to each other in the examining room stays in the examining room.
