Unbalanced Accounts

Trenton private detective Nick Magaracz reluctantly takes a job with the state of New Jersey to track down some missing checks. When a popular accounting clerk takes a dive from the twelfth floor window Nick sees that the case is more complicated than he thought, eventually leading to a nursing home in Atlantic City, where the corrupt family that runs the home parties with the state's money.
