Death Rides a Red BIrd

Heller Kane, a detective who fled Oregon after a broken romance, receives an urgent summons from his elderly father to return and help him with a problem in the family business. Upon his arrival in the small town of his boyhood, a hoped for reunion with the girl he left behind is delayed when he finds that his elderly father is missing, and that he, himself, is accused of a murder he did not commit.
