Less than one hundred years ago, a boy named Marcialito was born in a farm as big as the zoo. His family moved to the city and just like ordinary children do, he went to school, play games and read his books. At first sight Marcialito look like every other boy with a problem or two; he look young but he was older than us all and have traveled to distant places around the world saying that we should treat animals like people and that "Children are animals too".
It was the night before his thirteen birthdays when life-story changed forever... and ever! After that day something strange started to happen: whenever he went to sleep in one place he dreamed back-in time and woke up one year earlier in another place, again and again. Some how his body stopped growing and he looked like a twelve-years old for years and years. Those who know about him and listen to his stories call him "Marcialito, the boy who never grew up."
One day he went to sleep at home in the city and wake-up -one year earlier- in the farm where he was born. He promptly recognized his first and best friends that were born in the same place; Pony the horse, Burro the donkey, Vaca the cow, Puerco the pig, Chivo the goat, Gato the cat, Perro the dog and one hundred chickens named Pollitos running here, there and everywhere.
There was an old farm-keeper delighted to see him who kept looking at him with a smiley face as the animals followed the boy around playing and carrying on a noisy conversation.
"How do you do that"... They seem to really like! Said the old man.
Marcialito shrugged his shoulder up and said; "I don't know, I just talk and they listen...They talk and I listen... I guess animals are like people... they have feelings, the play and they also talk!
"Listen here boy! Animals don't talk... everybody knows that animal can't talk". Said the old man.
"O yes they do!... They talk to each other and they talk to me... All the time!" Affirmed Marcialito with the smile.
"And what do you mean that 'animals are like people... Who told you that" Asked the old man.
