The Drummer Boy's Prayer

During the civil war, in the most excruciating circumstances, a Jewish physician operates on a 17 year old drummer boy. Disregarding the untempered pain of surgery, the boy thinks only of the fact that his physician doesn't know Jesus, and pleads with the man to accept Him as his Messiah. To the boy's dying breath he said nothing about his pain, only of his desire for the doctor's salvation.

This moving story tells of the journey that a Jewish physician took to get to know Jesus, and withstand the social and family pressures to reject his new-found Messiah.
