Between Worlds

A comical gargoyle with a voracious appetite, an ailing Queen with a trespasser in her midst, and a loyal griffin intent on protection are just a few of the eclectic residents of a magical land. Now, these noble companions are in a race against time to discover why their homeland is being destroyed. They find hope in a deeply introverted, sweet girl named Melinda who is drawn into their struggle when she is given a key that literally unlocks their world. Her adventures lead her to believe that there is much more to the mysterious disappearance of her parents than she initially thought. Emerging clues about them seem somehow connected to a desperate battle between good and evil. Melinda quickly learns that the rejection of her peers is going to be the least of her teenage problems as she is stalked by a strange darkness that believes she is the pivotal figure in a war of epic proportions. Now, Melinda must tamper with volatile magic and embark on a journey to the treacherous Land of Nod, where the secrets of her past will be revealed and an age-old struggle will finally be decided.
