The Rainbow is a novel by D. H. Lawrence, a British author. The novel focuses on the sexual dynamics of the relationships between its characters. The author's frank treatment of the desires of sex along with the powers that sex plays within relationships and its spiritual forces on human beings. Due to its obscenity in the late 1915 trail, all copies of this novel were seized and burnt.
