Close Encounters of the Personal Kind

What if Jesus came to your community to preach the gospel, how would you or your neighbors receive him? In Close Encounters, Joshua Davidson, a native of Small Town America and six of his closest friends visit area churches with the good news of salvation in Christ Jesus, but many are not interested in Joshua’s “brand of good news.” Some of the county commissioners try to have the seven men run out of town on charges of disturbing the peace.

Close Encounters is a collection of short stories from the perspective of sixteen different people from different walks of life who encounter the Author of life. Will they accept Joshua for who he claims to be and the salvation he offers, or will they reject him?
