My Green Grocer

Tripp Mandrell is a senior in high school, and irrepressible. Six years prior he took on the onerous burden of becoming the man of the house when John Mandrell, Tripp's father, was killed in a train accident. Tripp is determined to prove that it was not suicide, but murder.
Etta Bingly (alias Zetta) is a chef in training; her aloof mother does little else but read, and her autocratic father has plans for her life.
Etta joins Tripp in the investigation of his father's mysterious death. Together they interview an eclectic group of suspects, which include an exotic animal farmer, a principal, a hoarder, and a surprising number of frenimies. Even with the use of Tripp's passion for forensics, they find an array of confusing answers.
Etta and Tripp develop an intense attraction which they are not prepared for, and their relationship ravels into many difficulties.
My Green Grocer is a diverting combination of drama, and lightheartedness.
