The historical fiction chapters come from a work-in-progress about the a man and woman in the gun sights during the American Revolution. It focuses on the passions, the fears and the hopes, the triumphs and tragedies of the people caught on the battlefields and routes of march taken by the British invading the countryside just west of Philadelphia, primarily in Chester County.
