Justice For All

When a murderer slays his family and uses the legal system to avoid the death penalty, Josh Stone wonders if there is still justice in the world because he believed that the only punishment for the murderer was death. A mysterious old man gives Josh the chance to bring justice to the people of Valence City, in the form of a magically imbued sword. After he agrees to take up the sword, Josh acquires the magic of the sword and must battle the evil doers of Valence City who are controlled by demons and their nefarious lord. To make matters worse, the police are on the alert due to Josh's vigilante actions and grow ever closer to finding who is the Valence City Vigilante. Between dodging police and demons, Josh starts to bond deeply with the sentient sword and his conscious, and unconscious, start to delve too deep for the heart of the sword is based in justice, with little room for anything else. Josh's soul is in danger of being ripped away by demons or steeled in vengeance by the sword and he must find the strength to battle both.
