Have you read a good vampire novel lately? Nope, me neither.
Vampire novels don't have to suck... yet most do. But you can finally break out of the vicious cycle of disappointment by reading Vampire Novels Don't Have to Suck.
How does this book overcome the problems of modern vampire stories? I'll tell you how:
Problem: The protagonist is a airheaded girl who thinks that being undead is really cool.
Solution: Meet Bryan Blake, a guy who is, as most of us sane people would be, scared to death of vampires.
Problem: The vampire is a brooding, morally conflicted emo guy who apparently has nothing better to do than seduce underage girls.
Solution: Meet Riona Grian, a kick-ass female vampire who sucks peoples' blood and isn't ashamed of it.
Problem: The antagonist is either very vague, very easy to vanquish, or not very scary.
Solution: Meet Dr. Anthony Frank, one of the scariest and seriously messed up evil guys you will ever read about. No joke.
Problem: The vampire trope is really just a cover used to disguise the fact that the book is a romance novel and/or erotica novel.
Solution: Minimal romance, no sex.
So if you're tired of reading vampire stories that have weak characters, no real plot, and gratuitous bedroom scenes, Vampire Novels Don't Have to Suck is the novel for you.
