WILD AND CAREFREE

Times were tough. The world was engulfed in war; the Stock Market crashed; the economy unraveled; the great Southwest was a "dustbowl;" the W.P.A. was in full swing; long dole lines were everywhere; unemployment had skyrocketed. In every place was the mentality, "Mister, got a dime to spare?" The times indeed were harsh.

It was worse with me; not because of the times, but because of who and what I becme in those times.

This is my story and perhaps yours in one way or another.
