One year later, things have settled down and all is peaceful in Hope. But the gangsters who fled to the Far West are re-organizing their forces under the direction of Mr. Big, also known as The Puppet of Pain. Their mission: To retake the city and turn it back into the simmering cesspool it once was, before Trapman and his crew cleaned house. Everyone knows something very strange is about to happen when the kidnapped Street Genius is released, glued to a giant business card that bears an ominous message from the enigmatic Voice from the Cell Phone.
The Puppet of Pain makes his assault on Crack Alley, the once-forlorn neighborhood in Hope. He’s armed with a magical mirror (Mirrex TM) which allows him to summon inhuman mercenaries – Grog Soldiers – from another dimension. Trapman and his friends must find a way to get rid of the invaders and plug up the leak in the 4th dimension.
Through trickery, Paris Weekly – Trapman’s girlfriend and the Mayor’s daughter – is lured into the diabolical mirror. Trapman and his sidekick Joey quickly and bravely pursue her into the 4th dimension. Shortly after the three arrive, Trapman learns that the Grog Soldiers don’t appreciate being summoned to other dimensions any more than they are appreciated in places like Hope. The trio wants to find their way back to Hope. But Trapman wants to destroy the source of the Puppet’s powers. So do the Grog Soldiers. But this requires a trip into the dangerous Demonic Forest!
The trio is accompanied by a band of sympathetic Grog Soldiers, under the leadership of Captain Jack. The trip through the forest to find the source of the Puppet’s powers is a series of exciting and dangerous adventures, including an attack of giant, gel-filled squirrels, trickery by trolls and of course, demons of various inclination.
Meanwhile, the battle in Hope rages on. The people are perplexed and horrified by the appearance of Mr. Gig’s rubbery raiders. Chief Trust captures and interrogates Snake-Eyes Sambucca, but the goofy gangster is no help.
Back in the Demonic Forest, Paris and the troops discover that she is an ‘adept’ and therefore able to use magic gems to cast spells. They use her newfound powers to find their way to the Great Demon, the one who has the power to grant access to other dimensions. It summons hundreds of demons to devour the hapless hunters. But Hoot Whitney, the Forest’s Gatekeeper and former Country & Western recording star, dispatches the Great Demon with a single silver bullet and the demons disperse. Since mirrors don’t exist in the 4th Dimension, Hoot provides them with a simple and obvious solution to get back to the 3rd Dimension. In no time, the three crusaders find themselves back home in the middle of Hope. The Puppet’s Grog Soldiers have disappeared. The battle has ended. The Puppet has dispatched himself back to the 4th Dimension via Mirrex.
Trapman and Paris marry and become the most popular couple in Hope. All is well. That is until early one morning when the grim apparition of The Puppet of Pain reveals himself in Trapman’s shaving mirror.
