Moneybags

This book is based on true events beginning in 1979, when nearly a million dollars disappeared in the form of a cash shipment to a small fishing town in Alaska. As a result of this disappearance, lives were irrevocably altered, especially those of two young men, both living threadbare existences in trailers, mainly subsisting on venison and whatever food they could get from the sea. This tale chronicles the year-long odyssey that followed the sudden influx into their lives of, what was to them, a vast amount of money; enough to launch them out into a world of exotic beaches, foreign cities, and ancient villages; enough to sample a lifestyle normally reserved for the privileged elite; enough to test their capability to deal with paranoia, temptation, and a certain amount of incompetence.
