20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne published in 1869. It tells the story of Captain Nemo and his submarine Nautilus as seen from the perspective of Professor Pierre Aronnax.

In the aftermath of the American Civil War, ships are sunk in the ocean by a mysterious creature, suspected to be a Narwhal, The American Frigate Abraham Lincoln is sent to find, and kill it.
