Motorcycle Road Trips (Vol. 2) Wastegates - Fourteen Years As President of the Turbo Motorcycle International Owners Association

Wastegates - These thirty-four published magazine articles were produced over eight years as the fourteen-year president of the Turbo Motorcycle International Owners Association (TMIOA). These "Wastegate" editorials appeared in the association's quarterly newsletter "Turbo News" from Spring 1994 (#18) to the final edition in Fall 2003 (#51). Included are "The Shower Head Principle" - an unscientific examination of the inverse relationship between the height of motel shower heads and the motel's distance from the nearest metropolis, "Twelve Out of Thirteen" - an observation on the results of unleashing turbocharged motorcycles onto an unsuspecting public, "A Look Back" - the history of Turbo News, and "Going Global" - the beginning of the TMIOA website that resulted in the end of Turbo News.

These personal observations cover the gamut from the state of motorcycling in general, to the minutiae of the always entertaining antics at the association's annual "Turbo Rallies", to the joys of Turbo ownership.
